SHOA would like to notify all residents of impending road work on both Salisbury Road and Winterfield Road. Each road is slated to be repaved in the next few weeks. Work is scheduled to start in two (2) weeks.  If everything goes smoothly and as planned with no rain, work on Winterfield Rd. will begin on Thursday, September 28th.  Patching will take place for several days on both roads. Once complete, overlaying the entirety of Winterfield Rd. and Salisbury Rd. will run daily from 9am – 5pm.  It is anticipated that the work will carry on through the end of October.

SHOA suggests that residents find alternate routes through the side roads to and from their residence, if possible, as delays are to be expected.  A flagging operation and a pilot vehicle will let opposing queues of traffic take turns passing the paving operation. The pilot vehicle will lead traffic through the work zone as the opposing traffic is held until the last vehicle is through, then the process will repeat in the other direction.  The pilot vehicle will run non-stop throughout the work day. It is in our best interest that the queues of traffic are as short as possible.  If long queues develop, please be patient. These are busy roads and delays are inevitable. Plan on additional travel time to your destination.
